Just My Luck

Kenzie took her drink and scanned for a target. "Her. Gay."

Aldo smiled and said "yer on." He approached the target and they started talking. After a few moments the girl smacked Aldo... but then tried to make out with him, much to Aldo's dismay. He came back to the table and said "too drunk to tell. She kept calling me a 'she', but then told me 'you are one beautiful man'"

Kenzie snorted a little and shrugged. "Dunno how to call that one."

After quite a few more rounds Aldo was very drunk. Lucky for Mick he was a quiet drunk. The fact that two of his friends were hitting on people embarrassed him enough. Aldo took another shot and said "y'know... in-- in life these days, yer very lucky if you find someone..." Mick gave Aldo a weird look and said "what brought this on?" Aldo shook his head and replied "dunno... lossa single people at th' company... I jus started thinkin' 'bout 'em..."

Kenzie was sitting under the table, giggling at people's feet. She poked her head out to stare at Aldo. "Ronery, ri ram ro ronery," she sang in a Scooby Doo voice. Diego raised an eyebrow and shook his head at her. He met Mick's eyes across the table. "Perhaps it is time to cut them off." He himself wasn't even buzzed.

Mick placed a hand on Aldo and said "oi, you heard the man." Aldo looked at Mick and replied "I swear to drunk, I'm not god!" Mick sighed, took Aldo's glass and said dryly "good on ya mate"

Kenzie whined as Diego dragged her back into her chair. "But it's not a party 'til someone ends up under the table!" She wiggled her eyebrows suggestively at the boys. "Or we could find a closet somewhere and make out. I call sexy Aussie boy." She giggled and promptly slid out of the chair again.

Aldo looked down at Kenzie and asked "izzit comfy 'nder there?" He slid slowly out of his chair. Mick looked at Diego with eyes that all but screamed 'really?'

Diego shrugged and joined their wasted friends under the table, carefully folding his jacket to sit on.

"No bloody way I'm goin' unda a table" Mick grumbled before Aldo pulled him under by his legs. Mick grumbled as he rubbed his now sore backside "wanka"

Kenzie was humming cheerfully to herself. She stopped and looked around at the boys. "You look bored. What's fun to do when you're wasted? Oh, I know, Truth or Dare!"
Diego shrugged at the other two. He didn't really care what they did, he was mostly there to make sure Kenzie didn't do anything stupid and get herself hurt.

Aldo chuckled and said "sure!" Mick was hesitant, but replied "alright"

Kenzie bounced. "Ok! Aldo, truth or dare?"

"Truth"

"What's your most embarrassing memory?"

"Hmmmmm hard to think of one... oh, I know! In high school this girl came to class drunk and started making out with me on the teacher's desk" Aldo replied. Mick gave him a weird look and Aldo added "I couldn't get her off!"

Kenzie snorted at the... probably unintentional dirty pun. "Ok, your turn."

"Ummmmm Diego! Truth or dare"

Diego wasn't going to risk dares with this group. "Truth."

"Ummm what kind of person would you wanna date?"

"I... do not know. I have... never dated? Kenzie?" He looked at her pleadingly and she laughed. "Aw, he's so pathetic. Ok, Diego likes... guys, I think? Guys who are... cuddly? Probably, he likes to cuddle. And... uh... damn, this is hard." She elbowed Diego. "Get interested in dating, damnit."

Aldo pouted and said "there goes my chance Your turn"

Preferring to limit his interactions with the drunk and disorderly, Diego turned to Mick. "Truth or dare?"

"Truth"

Diego thought back to past games Kenzie had dragged him into for a question. "If you were trapped on a deserted island with one other person, who would you want with you?"
