Secondrate Heroes - Restart

Bev sighed. "No offense, but we were hoping for a real hero. Someone who could take the lead. We barely know what we're doing."

A sudden alarm caught Gabriel's attention. Investigating, Gabriel called up a video feed: a man, dressed in winter gear was pushing a severely injured person in a shopping cart as he investigated the destroyed security outside.

"Temperature dropping at an alarming rate! Shit, what's this guy doing?" Gabriel cursed as he attempted to start up what little of his security wasn't destroyed.

((Here comes Frost to try and revive this rp!))

Bev leaned in to check out the video. "He doesn't look like a threat, apart from the corpse he's hauling around. Oh wait, they moved - not a corpse. He doesn't seem particularly interested in us, or like he even knows we're here. Maybe we should cut him off, find out what he wants before he comes inside."
Jasper rolled out of the med-bot's arms, hitting the floor before getting to his feet. "And if he is looking for a fight, he's got one." He did not sound remotely threatening.

Gabriel took a quick look at the other camera's before replying "I'll go with you. He seems to be alone, and I need to take a look at my equipment anyway".

Once outside the man immediately noticed Bev and the others. He stood directly between them and the injured person and said "From your outfits you are heroes". He looked the group over, then started walking away as he continued "This person will die soon. They require aid I cannot give".

"Shit." Bev rushed to the injured person's side, already examining them even as she called out "Nice one, buddy. Just dump someone in need with the first people you find. We could be violent looters for all you know."

The man turned and replied "either you are not violent looters and he has a chance to be saved or you are and he dies anyway. I was not designed to tend to injuries." Gabriel stepped forward, eager to keep this stranger from leaving so soon, saying "designed? Someone made you?"
"Yes"
"Was it Doom?"
"Perhaps"
"You don't know"
The man shook his head. He pointed at the injured person and said "You should focus on the injured" Gabriel hesitated before joining to help Bev.

"Guess you weren't designed to care either," Bev muttered to herself. "Of course for most people that just comes naturally."
Warily, Jasper asked the stranger "What are you doing here?"
