Descendants of the Gods - Restart

In Greek mythology it is often said that the Olympian gods and goddesses will come down from on high and copulate with the mortals, producing demigods. That’s all myth right? Well... you’d be wrong. The gods did not simply stay atop their lofty perch. No, the gods, more specifically Mount Olympus, followed the strongest civilization at that time period. Right now, it's in the United States.

The truly unfortunate thing is that these demigods tend attract slews of monsters taken straight out of Greek myth, especially if they’re the child of one of the main 12 gods and goddesses, and especially so if their parent happens to be one of the “Big Three”: Zeus, Poseidon, or Hades. Generally the children of the lesser gods can get away with living in the mortal world.

The trickier part of the mortal world is the Mist. This is magic where mortals are blind to what goes on with things in Greek Mythology: a giant could look like an overgrown man to them. A winged beast could be a gigantic bird to the mortals. The point is, the Mist allows the mortals to see what they can accept. So demigods can see the truth, but mortals' minds would be working on making the situation more realistic.

Getting away from all that doom and gloom, there is a place where these demigods can go to be safe. A place by the name of Camp Half-Blood located in the Manhattan area. To the mortals looking in from beyond the boundary, it looks like a simple strawberry farm, but to the demigods that pass the boundaries (and only they and the ‘instructors’ can), this place is where they can train, eat, and live without worry.

Recently, something has been happening to the gods. They disappear, then turn up as amnesiac mortals. Nike came to the camp to ask for help, but the demigods didn't feel they were strong enough to risk facing anything that could take on a god. Chiron, who ran the camp, left to help; a few days later Nike turned up powerless. Chiron was nowhere to be found.

They stood outside 'Jane Doe's hospital room. Roni had argued against going in - what good would it do? Anything they told Nike would only confuse her. She insisted that was the only reason she wouldn't go in. "So what do we do? The camp needs Chiron to keep it running, but how do we find him when the last person to see him has no memories?"

Hermia bounced on the balls of her feet as she replied "We'll think of something... maybe we can track her movements! Has anyone hunted before?" Alistair sighed and said "Sadly, I have not hunted for many years"

Roni shrugged. "There must be someone in the camp who knows how to track. When we get back we should gather all the older campers together and see who has useful skills."
Daniel spoke up suddenly. He had seemed focused on tracing the cracks in the brick wall of the corridor, but apparently he had been listening. "Artemis is goddess of the hunt. Aristaeus is a lesser god of hunting. Ioke is goddess of the pursuit of enemies."
"So do any of them have kids at the camp?"
"I don't know."
"Very helpful."
