Gallery of Horror

Welcome to the gallery of the dearly departed Guertena, famous painter and sculptor. Do you like "Abyss of the Deep"? Or how about "Worry"? Please be sure to view "Fabricated World". Very few enjoy this painting, but it is truly one of Guertena's more... powerful works of art.

Rules

• The Usual
  
• No magic, and please no complicated 'destiny' crap such as "our roses match! We must be lovers!". Which leads to the next rule
  
• Each person has a rose. This rose is a color that corresponds with the character. Please try and avoid characters having matching roses
  
• Please pm me with ideas or questions

Notes

• When your character views "Fabricated World" the lights grow dark, no one is around, and a personalized message of 'CoMe ****' will appear on the floor
  
• Roses represent a character's health. If petals are plucked from the rose then the person that corresponds with that rose will first feel weak, then their chest will ache, their skin goes pale, and then finally they die.

Jack stared at the message on the ground. It looked like it was written in blood, but upon close examination Jack was relieved to find it was just paint. He looked around and saw that everyone was gone.

At the sound of loud stamping, Jack whirled back to face 'Fabricated World'. He noticed a small message that wasn't there before and read


Jack shivered, but he swallowed his fear and searched for this... 'down below'. He wandered around the bottom floor, flinching as fruit fell from paintings and meowed at him. Jack noticed blue footprints leading... into a painting? 'Abyss of the Deep' huh? Jack thought. He took a calming breath, then felt a hand on his back. Next thing Jack knew, he was sinking deeper and deeper into an unknown abyss.

Melody whimpered as the lights flickered on her, she was by the large colourful painting. Although she could not read the one word, her sister Clara had to read the name of the painting. ‘Fabricated world’… She had no clue when Clara had walked off on her, nor did she like the fact that she was alone.

The lights soon went out, words appearing on the floor. “Come Melody~” Biting her lip, Melody looked around. “H-hello?! Who’s there?!”
“Come, come, come below.”

Trembling, she decided to head downstairs. It was eerie not seeing anyone, Melody noted as she stood in the lobby. She noticed the door and ran to it trying to open it. It was locked. She tried the nearby windows. There was no way to open them. She ran off towards the other exhibits, there had to be another way out of this place. Stumbling she fell into a display on the ground, a painting that had creeped her out earlier…

She was still falling? She swore it was only a painting, or so Clara told her it was. She luckily didn’t hit the ground to hard. Moaning she got up, noticing some stairs, maybe there was an escape here!?

Jack lay at the bottom of the stairs. When he hit the ground he landed on the stairs and fell all the way down. A black rose lay on his back, a few petals having fallen away.

Melody had left the hall way nervously; she was looking for an exit somewhere in this place. While walking, she was very confused. Where did all the people go? Where was her sister? At least she wasn’t alone up in the dark gallery anymore –instead she was in a dim hall way with a few paintings. “Hello? Is anyone there?” She called out as she wandered wherever she was.

(ooc: I am awkward at this… I haven’t rp’d in about over half a year. Sorry if I messed things up D8…. )

((It's fine. Jack is in the alternate gallery now so I can't do much until Melody finds him though))

Jack moaned quietly and groggily pushed himself up into a sitting position. He checked himself for any injuries and found he was alright, but he felt a bit weak

Melody continued to walk, soon finding a door. As she opened it and looked around, it seemed to be filled with portraits and statues. She went to check them out, feeling a bit uncomfortable as she did so. She was being watched. “H-hello!?” She called out. It wasn't until she turned around that she noticed a statute of a head had moved from the corner it was in, it’s eyes glowing red. That was all she needed, she had to leave. Quickly she ran for the door, in a rush to escape.
She made sure to kick the door shut before running down the hall way. It was long, before she ran into something… Or someone? She found herself falling backwards, confused.

Jack heard footsteps and slowly looked towards the source. He tried to rub the blurriness from his eyes and said "h-hello? Is someone there?"

Melody got up, quickly recovering. "Hello." She replied simply, looking at Jack. "Are you okay, mister?"

Jack smiled and replied as he slowly stood up "I-I'm alright. How about you? Are you hurt?"

((Going to bed. Night))

"I'm okay..." She nodded.

Jack offered his hand and said "My name is Jack. Might I ask your name?"

(Sorry that I haven;t been on lately, I went up to the cottage and didn't really have time to be on the site.)

"Hi Jack, my name is Melody." She said as she shook his hand.

(No worries)

"Melody. Well, it's a pleasure to meet you. Er... how did you get here?"

"I feel in a painting, it was really dark and I tripped." Melody said, embarassed.

"Ah, I see. Your fate was much like mine" Jack replied with a smile

"You fell in too? Are yo okay?" She asked worried.

Jack chuckled and replied "well, I took a bit of a tumble down the stairs, but I'm alright." He then noticed the petals around him and saw a black rose beside him.

"I'm glad your okay..." She said her eyes going to follow his glaze, she seemed to perk up when she looked down at his rose. "I've never seen a black coloured rose before!" She said going to pick it up.

"Seems like an odd place to find a rose" Jack commented

"...Should we just leave it? Maybe it fell out of something?" Melody said, looking around. She soon yelped dropping the rose on the ground. She had forgotten the fact that the stem had thorns.

Jack took Melody's hand and said "let me see." He ripped a part of his shirt, removed the thorn carefully, then wrapped it around where the thorn had cut her. "Better?" he asked.

Melody nodded quietly. "Thank you." She said softly.

Jack stuffed the rose in a pocket, got up, and offered his hand to Melody with a warm smile as he said "I shouldn't leave you in such a desolate place. Shall we go together?"
