He's from Dragon Age II. Fenris is this elf slave that escaped from his master. Unfortunately he has these tattoos that contain a physical form of magic called Lyrium. Sadly his master is still after him and he's almost always serious, but he has so many moments where you just wanna hug him. As you can tell by my profile change: I has a new obsession XD

I'm guessing they would know eachother since they live in the same area, but only in passing. It's possible, judging by both Yuan and Derek's personalities, that they set up Yuan's mansion as a sort of safe house for emergencies.
